Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG)

FSEOG are campus based aid, meaning that the financial aid offices at the participating schools handle the distribution of the funds. Once they run out of funds, that's it for the year. So, you want to make sure that you get your application in on time.

The FAFSA is the required form, but schools may have their own deadlines for submission which are earlier than the Federal date. Check with your financial aid office to be sure. (Hint: tomorrow would be a good day to check).

For this school year, the awards varied from $100-$4000. The amount can depend on your financial need, school policies, when you apply and how much funding is available.

The money may be paid directly to your school account or a check may be issued to you.
